True Woman 101 is an 8-week study on biblical womanhood, written by Mary A. Kassian and Nancy Leigh Demoss. These ladies begin by telling us about the true woman movement and how we should discover and embrace God’s design and mission for our lives, reflect the beauty and heart of Jesus Christ to their world, and pray earnestly.
Each week is given a topic: Week 1 is Gender matters, week 2 is Snips and Snails, week 3 is Sugar and Spice, week 4 is Snake in my Garden, week 5 is Battle of the Sexes, week 6 is Hear Me Roar, week 7 is Total Makeover and week 8 is Sisterhood is Powerful. I really enjoyed how they broke down each one and I love week 2 and how they talk about men and how they should be the protector and provider.
At the end of the book, there is a copy of the True Woman Manifesto for you to sign, which makes it even more meaningful. Make sure you have your Bible and notebook handy, because you will need it. I really enjoyed this study and recommend it to any small group or individual that longs to become a true woman.
