Couples of The Bible by Robert and Bobbie Wolgemuth

Do you long to strengthen your marriage? Do you want to spend quality time with your spouse while drawing closer to God’s word? Then you should read Couples of the Bible a one-year devotional study to draw you closer to God and each other.  In this devotional you will find 52 weeks of devotionals about different married couples from the Bible, from Adam and Eve to Christ and His Bride.

Each chapter is broken down in five days, Monday through Friday, which highlights each couple in five different ways: Their story, Their Life and Times, Can You Imagine, Their Legacy in Scripture, and Their Legacy of Prayer. Through each one of these you will see how God revealed Himself to each man and woman and how that impacted their lives.

It is wonderful reading about each couple and seeing what happens when God is the center of your marriage. Even though each couple did experience hardships, suffering, and trials, it didn’t change how much they trusted God. It is amazing to think about how, having God as the center of your marriage can bring you and your spouse closer together.

I highly recommend Couples of the Bible to everyone, no matter how long you have been married or whether you are engaged. This book will bring you closer to each other as well as closer to God.
