Atlas Girl
By Emily T. Wierenga
Atlas Girl is Emily T. Wierenga’s memoir of her life. Emily left home at the age of 18 broken, lonely and ready to find God somewhere else other than in her home. She sets out on a journey of self-discovery, traveling all over the globe, hence the name of the book Atlas Girl. After battling anorexia, being part of organized religion and then her parent’s a mum who stays at home with them and a father who is a preacher turned missionary.
Emily’s story is wonderful stories to read, especially if you have felt pain, suffered loss and have even dealt with anorexia. There is always a story we can all learn from, and I highly recommend Atlas Girl, it will help you see how God loves us all no matter what we have done and where we have been.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher for my honest review.
