Love Comes Home is the third book in the Rosey Cornor Series written by Ann H. Gabhart and is based on after World War II. Even those this is the third book in this series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Two of the Merritt sisters have anxiously waited the return of their husbands from the war while the third sister is dealing with the fact that her husband will not return from the war.
Kate and Evangeline feel the war has changed their husbands because at certain times they feel their husbands are not with them, that their minds are somewhere else. Their husbands are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and they have to be patient with them. Then the grief seems at times to hard for Victoria to deal with and now she has to raise their daughter alone.
Love Comes Home is a great story filled with the struggles of dealing with post war and the grace that we know God gives. Wonderful Story.
