Greater by Steven Furtick will challenge you to dream bigger, start smaller, and ignite God’s vision for your life. This is the best Christian living book that I have read in a while. Greater has challenged me to become more satisfied with the work that I do for Christ. That I should always strive to be greater with Christ through the Holy Spirit that is within me.
Pastor Furtick uses real life happenings, the life of Elisha and Elijah, and scripture to teach us how to be greater. He uses John 14:12 throughout the book and that verse says, “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” That is a powerful verse that Jesus has written. What a joy it is to know that we can be Greater than what we already are.
This is the third time that I have read Greater and I love what I take from its pages. Each time I learn something new; just like I learn something new each time I read God’s word. I highly recommend Greater to every Christian whether you have been saved for a long time or if you’re a baby in Christ. You will not be disappointed in what Pastor Furtick has written.
