The Desire is the third book in The Restoration Series by Dan Walsh and Gary Smalley. Infertility is something that affects a lot of couples today and it has torn many marriages apart. In The Desire, Allen and Michele have been trying for two years to have a baby and haven’t had any luck. Michele wants a baby badly but Allen is content with spending his time trying to save the orphans in Africa. After researching options, resentment rears its ugly head and Michele resents how Allen divides his attention. Does God have a plan to save this marriage and bring them the family they want?

The Desire is a great book that I highly recommend for anyone who has ever been through infertility or who is going through it. This book hits home for my family, my sister has struggled with infertility for 19 years and longs to have a baby, and my aunt suffered with infertility but ended up adopting.
