The Daughter of Highland Hall

Carrie Turansky

The Daughter of Highland Hall is the second book in Carrie Turansky’s Edwardian Brides Series. Katherine Ramsey is a strong-willed, beautiful debutante who is ready for her season and to find a proper husband. Her family’s estate, Highland Hall, has been passed on to her cousin, Sir William Ramsey. With the help of her aunt, Katherine is hoping to attract suitors at the parties and gatherings she will be attending with Great Britain’s elite.

When a family scandal happens, this jeopardizes Katherine’s season and a chance to find a husband. During it all she meets medical student, Jonathan Foster, they become friends and he takes her to London’s East End to help volunteer in the medical office there that helps the poor. As their friendship grows, her faith in God grows as well as her love for that certain doctor.

Katherine has a decision to make between real love and wealth and position. Will Katherine follow her heart or her head? Will she find true love and happiness? You will need to read to find out. I give this great book 5 out of 5 star.
