The Wishing Season
Denise Hunter
PJ McKinley has only one dream, to open up her own restaurant. Cole Evans, a contractor who has a big heart, wants to open a home for kids who have know where else to go. So, when a Chapel Springs Resident who offers her ancestral home to whoever has the best plan for the home starts a contest, both PJ and Cole enter the contest in hopes of winning.
Neither one seen what was coming when the winner(s) were announced, they both one. The owner loved both of their plans and gives them a year to show what they can do. PJ takes the bottom level for her restaurant and Cole takes the upper level for his foster home for kids. They have to live together and try to make their proposals work. But what will happen in the process? Will they make this work? Will they fall in love? With this competition, is it really the house on the line or is it more?
I give The Wishing Season 5 out 5 stars and thoroughly enjoyed this story. I highly recommend this book to any one, even as part of a series; this book can be read as a stand-alone.
Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a copy of the book for my honest review.
