Sawyer is a best-selling, award-winning highly acclaimed author with more than one million copies of her books currently in print. She lives in central Kansas with her retired military husband and enjoys spoiling her grandchildren.

 

When Love Returns continues the story of Suzanne Zimmerman and her daughter Alexa. Suzanne knew it wasn’t going to be easy when she returned to the Old Order Mennonite community to help take care of her ailing mother but it was what she needed to do. Suzanne and Alexa have spent months rebuilding relationships with family, the same family that shamefully sent her away twenty years ago. Suzanne is now focused on the upcoming wedding of her biological daughter and finds her self in a situation with Paul, the father of her daughter. Not only does she have the wedding to plan for, her adopted daughter, Alexa is heading back to Indianapolis to visit friends and find her birth parents.

 

This is definitely another one of Sawyer’s books that you will not be able to put down. I have truly enjoyed reading about Suzanne’s journey. These books will definitely have you shedding tears and wishing the series didn’t end. I suggest that you begin with the first book in the series, When Mercy Rains then When Grace Sings.
