My Review:

This is the most gorgeous Bible that I have laid my eyes on. The skill that it takes to to do something like this is remarkable. This Bible is one you want to put up and not touch. What Bible am I talking about? It’s the new NIV Artisan Collection Bibles. There are 4 different hand painted covers to choose from. I chose the one that says I Will Sing To The Lord! We are a musical family. Music is a vital part of our lives and this one just suited me.

There are so many great features such as: the NIV Comfort Print typeface, Words of Jesus in Red, and Lined, wide margins for journals, notes and art. If you have someone who loves to take notes, or loves Bible journaling, then this is the Bible for them!

Warren W. Wiersbe, former pastor of the Moody Church and general director of Back to the Bible, has traveled widely as a Bible teacher and conference speaker. My Review:

I am a Bible fanatic!! A new Bible comes out and I have to have it. You can never put a price on your relationship with God, this is what my husband has told me several times but then he tells me, “Do you really need another Bible?” No, I don’t really need it but I want it.

Warren W. Wiersbe is the former pastor of Moody Church and wonderful theologian. He has written commentaries on every book of the Bible. When I seen that they were releasing a Wiersbe study Bible, I knew I needed it. I love everything about this Bible, especially the Catalyst notes that are throughout the Bible. The Be Transformed section is wonderful too, this section is found in the book introduction and it specifically points to the life-changing impact of that particular scripture.

There is so much about this Bible that is wonderful and it truly is a must have!!

My Review:

I absolutely love the NIV Biblical Theology Bible. This is the perfect Study Bible for anyone wanting to go more in depth in their understanding of the Bible. Full of information, colorful maps, hundreds of full color photos, over 60 charts. There were over 60 trusted contributors used for this Bible. This is one of my top go to Bibles for my studying. I can’t recommend this one enough. Available in Hardback cover, Bonded Leather, and Leathersoft, various colors available in the last two options, you are able to get this Bible how you want it.

This is definitely a Bible you will want to add to your collection or give as a gift. I promise you will not be disappointed.

CSB Study Bible for Women

My Review:

You can never have too many Bibles, Right? That is what I believe. When I seen that B&H/Lifeway was releasing a CSB Study Bible for Women, I knew I needed it. I love my study Bibles, I love the Christian Standard Translation!! Where do I begin about this Bible. The one I have is the hardcover that is covered in a beautiful light turquoise/sand cloth. The features are everything you could want in a study Bible. Study notes, 500 word studies, 25 full-color maps and reconstructions, introductions to each book of the Bible, a comprehensive concordance that includes every woman and reference to women in the Bible (my favorite), and threads of specialized study woven throughout, pointing to God’s larger story such as: Biblical Womanhood articles, Answers to “hard questions,” character profiles, doctrinal notes, and “written on my heart” applications.

This is one of the best study Bible’s for women that I own. The time spent putting this Bible together has paid off! Edited by two women who have been in ministry for a long time, Dorothy Patterson and Rhonda Kelley, this Bible will equip any woman who is ready to dive deeper into God’s word and mentor other women.

I highly recommend this Bible to all women, young and old. Perfect gift for that special woman in your life.

Rhonda Harrington Kelley is the President’s Wife at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Rhonda was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was raised in New Orleans. She is married to Dr. Chuck Kelley of Beaumont, Texas who became President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996. She received two college degrees from Baylor University and her doctorate in Special Education/Speech Pathology from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana. Rhonda served as Director of Speech Pathology at Ochsner Medical Institutions in New Orleans for 15 years. She is now in full-time ministry–writing, speaking, and teaching.

Rhonda Kelley currently serves as Director of the Ministry Wife Program and Adjunct Professor of Women’s Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as well as Associate Director of Innovative Evangelism. My Review:

I love Bibles! Whenever a new one comes out that I want, I am told I have too many. To me, a girl can never have too many Bibles!! Of course, I had to have The Apologetics Study Bible when I seen it. This Bible is a Christians must have Bible. This is in the Christian Standard Bible version (which used to HCSB). The features are endless: commentaries from 90+ apologists, presentation page, book introductions, study notes, profiles of Christian Apologists are just a few of the many features.

The CSB is a very highly readable text which means it is very easy to understand. For me, I sometimes have trouble understanding the KJV and the CSB really helps me to understand what I am reading. Honestly if you are looking for a Bible that will help you understand the Bible, get a deeper understanding and learn about some of the leading apologists then look no further, this is the Bible for you.
